Feature feedback

Hey, I'm working to add support for more bulk emails, AWS SES and Send grid are going into audience for the next few days and joining MailGun.

All these providers are being integrated using the API's

The question I have is should I also support SMTP sending. There are limits for SMTP sending from your provider but if uour list is small it can be generous.

For example GSuite has a limit of 2,000 a day. I'm digging into these limits to see what they are.

I'm curious if anyone has any suggestions or thoughts around supporting SMTP as a sending option in Audience.

I would say keep it simple and launch fast. Might be worth more to just launch and validate the idea rather than add support for a (potentially complex?) sending protocol. :)

That's very true, the catch here is to support SMTP is pretty straight forward at this stage, I'm adding in SES and Send Grid support, and adding SMTP is kinda just 3 fields and an If statement.

But I am not thinking of having it in Beta 2, was more curious about what thoughts there are out there around just using SMTP.
