I like to figure things out.

Started to work again on a project that I let lie dormant for a bit. Unfortunately life gets really tricky at times. (Or seemingly all the time 😆)

Totally feel you. Finding little time to work on Makerlog, though I really want to :P

College is pretty rough when it comes to the time it sucks up, assuming that's what has been eating up your time. When I was in school just getting to class took up half my day.

What do you think of Airtable? I just started two months ago

I love it! I only use the free version, but I've been using it for well over a year now. I think it makes for the cleanest tables, and it's really what got me into using spreadsheets at all - I always hated the antiquated vibe of Excel and Sheets…though I have warmed up to Sheets since. Airtable is really handy for submission forms/surveys, too. And I think it could easily be used for a kind of jury-rigged MVP, in much the same way people use Sheets for MVPs/crowdsourcing data/etc..

Made a quick tutorial for writing content in Notion. Threw it on my personal blog: https://alexhayworth.com/organize-and-write-blog-posts-in-notion/

Came up with Notion workflow for writing blog posts (in comments 👇)

All you're really doing is creating a table within a table. That's all. This all sounds confusing, but it's pretty simple. It's not the most elegant writing workflow ever, but it lets you organize multi-doc writing in Notion easily

Step 3: Open the row/"block", but instead of writing directly in it, create ANOTHER table, that is, add a table inline…
