Does "Maker's Vlog" sound interesting to you?
I'm thinking about creating a series of videos on creating apps and shipping them, because I am pretty fascinated by the movement of live shipping by streaming everything you do on a product.
The thing is streams are extremely long and coding is not as fun to watch as games imo, so maybe documenting the process with a vlog style would make it more interesting & fun to watch?
What are your opinions on this?
For me, video has a higher barrier to entry to watch. Even more so than a podcast or other audio. It's also more intensive to produce.
It depends. How much you can automate all the process? Can you make sure it will not hurt your app development? (i mean you need to much time to record and edit) I believe if you can do it fast without hurting your main focus you should do it. Even if is just for documentation. I do weekly vlogs and most of them have like 5 to 10 views and are pretty boring lol because is just me doing the same thing over and over again. Anyway, I like to do them because I'm documenting my journey.
