Do you have a favorite VPN?

I was using Private Internet Access for a time, and it was okay, but not quite great. There are plenty of reviews out there but a lot of them are somewhat general, affiliate motivated posts. Any suggestions? Any VPNs that have been fast and reliable for you?

ProtonVPN -- unique features like Secure Core (routing your traffic through multiple servers before leaving their network) and Tor over VPN. It's worth the $96/year.

Ooh, I love protonmail but didn't know they made a VPN. Thanks for the suggestion!

@Alex If you use Protonmail, then upgrade your account to include ProtonVPN. No brainer.

I personally use PIA and haven't had any issues with it, however, I'm in Australia and usually use the local servers, so perhaps they're less crowded? Have you tried changing to a different server to see how it goes?

@pablobb @mehdi Thanks for the suggestions! Will absolutely check them out.

@digitalsparky I've tried a number of servers, but they've always been a bit spotty. It wasn't completely horrendous, but my subscription expired so I thought I might take a look at what else is out there.

Fair enough @alex - I'd also advise sending them a support ticket to let them know of the issues you had. Things aren't going to improve if they don't get feedback ;).
