It's a little confusing how clicking "Discussions" next to home does nothing.

I'd expect it to go to the "home" tab but it's just text.

Apologies for the late response, however I said “what do you mean?” because it showed your comment from the service worker thread, which had nothing to do with this. Something to look in to?
