So Google is talking about an audit by a security firm of 15K to 75K per year? It has to be run only for certain scopes, but of course, they're the most useful ones.

And it needs to be clarified because I've also heard it's only for apps using a backend and not for apps using the API only in the front end.

Too bad I've started to become more familiar with Google Apis despite their bad documentation. It shows the danger of working on the back of companies' API.

Yep, basically if you don't let any data from restricted scopes touch your backend then you don't have to do the audit.
