Would like some inputs to give me an idea on where to move next

As seen from my logs, I'm working on a project which aims to help families with their every day chores, activities, shopping and planning. The MVP is right around the corner, so I would like to ask some questions.

  1. How does your family organize today (Which apps and methods)
  2. What could be improved or removed
  3. If you were to make an app to organize your own family, what would be the first 2-3 features you would have added?
  4. What's the most important information for you to keep the family in sync?
  5. In a perfect world, what would be the top 3 features you could not live without in this type of app

If your family doesn't really do any of these things, what would be the most important features to help getting your family organized?

This looks a lot better in the editor 😂

Is this a product for a family unit living under the same roof, to manage daily activities/chores/schedules/etc., or for entire, extended families (cousins, aunts, uncles, so on and so forth) and keeping in touch?

Great question. The focus at this point is for a family under the same roof, or kids who's moved out, but still are young and often drops by for some free dinner :D

Hi! Answers below. A little late, I've been busy.

  1. My family is quite disorganized - it's all word of mouth task management.
  2. Everything about it could be improved - we just can't commit to a good task management app.
  3. Probably dead-simple task management. Nothing too complicated. And good IoT integration - I want a tablet in my wall that shows me what I need to do today. My chores.
  4. In my case, I forget everything, ever. And I can't commit to productivity apps rather than Makerlog.
  5. Task management, door knocking and chore completion notifications.
