Github/Gitlab webhook: show individual commits?

I see several makers with tasks that reflect Github/Gitlab commit descriptions (and with the Gitlab/Github icon), evidently incoming from a webhook. I'd much rather have that than the "Pushed X changes to Y" default aggregated task that comes from the Git integrations, because it's much more descriptive.

I guess I could roll my own using the generic web hook (but no Git{lab|hub} icon then? 🤔), but I was curious about how everybody else was achieving this.

I have the same question. I've been adding the commit messages as tasks in addition to the aggregated task. Plus after 3 commits the task loses the product hashtag.

Yeah I haven't figured this out either, would be good to get some better webhook instructions somewhere.

Yeah, but it doesn't seem to show commit descriptions.

Maybe @sergio can shed some light about why the webhook shows individual commits for some and aggregated for others?

Commit messages are shown if the repo is public, rather than private ones. :)

Ah that explains it, thanks! I guess this is more of a feature request, but could it become a behavior that we could toggle, whether we want to show the summary or the individual commits?

Not ready to make my projects public, but I'd love to share the progress as I go with the development :)

@michele I agree, don't personally need it but I think it's a great feature !

@michele I asked for the same a couple of weeks ago :)

@michele I've considered it for sure - it's not a priority right now, but it is in the roadmap. :)
