How many properties do you add to Google Search Console?

I used to enter the 4 properties (http, https, http://www and https://www) but I think it'ssafe to drop the http ones. Do you keep https and https://www or just the main one? I have some sites with data in both properties so I don't know if I should drop the second one.

^. I only use the https one as all traffic is redirected there anyways.

I'm an old dog when it comes to this, but I add all 4. It's just out of habit. The new GSC is supposed to make this process easier, but we will see.

I did a lot of SEO work when I was working in a web agency. You should add the 4 properties event if there are redirections, then select the non-www https property as preferred. Google is working to make this process more simple but for now, go for the 4 😉

@Wassim Is the "preferred property" option gone in the new Google Search console?

You should be able to switch back to the old search console to set the preferred property.
