How Much Do You Think Getmakerlog Is Helping You Being More Productive ?!
if you are using this website daily & as an asset in your case / situation , how does it help you to be more productive as a freelance is it somehow helping you to interact with Client ?
When I'm using it regularly it helps keep me motivated.
Cool ! what will happen if you dont complete your tasks by your plan ? you know ? like when you become lazy a day or whatever .. How Do you Handle that ?
It makes it easier for me to celebrate how much work I've done in a given day or week. That's a huge positive for me. The keeping me more focused or helping be more productive is also there but the fact that tasks do not really roll over to the next day in /todos makes it a bit challenging to keep track of long-term things.
The thought that people are gonna be able to see how productive I was for the day somehow motivates me to work. It's like I'm being accountable to the whole group and not just to myself in particular. Don't want to let the whole Makerlog community down w/ my laziness, so yep, I'm gonna work my ass off today :P
its good to get motivated by people opinion ! but in my idea i dont give a fine fuck about what people think about me ! there is a tiny line between getting motivated and the opposite concept !
@shahabpn Yup, I can totally understand and see why that would be a negative point for a lot of people (the whole business of putting your todos and tasks out on the open is a bit Big Brother-ish tbh hahaha but that's another topic altogether).
But it kinda works for me who works and studies from home 100% of the time. Most of the time, I just slack off and watch random Youtube videos and Twitch streams when no one's looking. :( Might as well have an accountability partner (in the form of a bunch of strangers on the internet) help keep me on track
my motivation got a mega boost. and i like to see other makers launch their products. that's really cool.
i log in once i've finished my morning coffee. then once i'm here, seeing how much others have shipped makes me feel guilty, so i go off and do my thing
