How should I name my pricing tiers?

I'm trying to come up with at least 2 tier names for the premium plans that I'll be adding to GG|. I'd like them to be somewhat gaming related since that is my target market.

My only two ideas so far are: Pro (tier 1) Elite (tier 2)

Does anyone else have any other ideas?

Also just had another idea for them:

  • Super (tier 1)
  • Ultimate (tier 2)

@sircharleswatson Use titles that give the level of degree of customer pain or benefits. They should give a context of which tier is suitable for each customer when they're deciding.

I think Pro and Elite are not bad.

What about "It's a hobby" Tier 1 and "No such thing as hobby" Tier 2, considering it's a gaming site. Something along those lines might work.

Or maybe call your pricing page "Difficulty" "Normal" "Insanity" make them look like the difficulty settings in games.

I agree with James, having the tiers be video-game terminology related would make me, as a end user, smile at the cleverness of it.

Anything from difficulty levels, or even hobby-gamer & MLG-pro, I think making them related to video-games would make your product stand out just a bit more.

Hey Charles You can also think about video game terminology that you can leverage, this will make a clear connection with your users because it's something they personally identify with. As opposed to Super/Ultimate Pro/Supreme.
