🏆 Milestone #90 ·
Until now, I have never really released something, not even a website. Well there was a pre-launch website of a Email Marketing Tool I was developing, but this project got abandoned very quickly. Not this time tho.
At my full-time job, we were struggling to find a solution for end-to-end tests. We tried everything on the market, but just couldn't find the perfect fit. We needed a simple solution that doesn't consume a hell lot of time to configure and get running, and also we needed screenshots of the whole page after every step in a test. None of the products had all of this (and some more things we struggled with), so I proposed to work on something on the side to fix this to my boss - and he agreed to not only be the first user, but also to help with problems or questions I have along the way. A lot of motivation here!
So for the first time, I am putting everything into that project. I created a small, simple early pre-launch website, set up MailChimp for a newsletter, developed the first prototype (I'm pretty far by now by the way). And started doing some early promotion and also collected some feedback on different platforms.
I send out a newsletter with screenshots and progress updates along the way and will also need some early beta testers in the near future. If you're interested in that or just want to check the website, here you are: https://www.testkit.app/
Of course the website is still a very early version. Not a lot of info, no screenshots yet. I will update the website in the near future to add some early screenshots and a little bit more information, but for now, I want to focus on development of TestKit.
Tell me what you think! What are your tips & tricks along the way? I'm happy to hear from you!
