Paraffin

I want to build a premium feature on Paraffin, the archive, so I'm just sending artists cold DMs to see if they want their work in the archive. I will try and build the most complete digital library of Contemporary Art in Puerto Rico.

So besides writing articles, I will try to build the most comprehensive archive of each artist I work with. This will be a daunting task, because of this I want to implement it in what will be part of Paraffin's annual sub. I haven't pitched it to the artists yet, so I'll try and have a more detailed initiative before I pitch it to them.

I was annoyed that one of my post carousels on the homepage wasn't at the right aspect ratio. Reviewing recent changes, I found that the SEO plugin I installed was interfering with my layout and causing featured images to fit in their original ratio instead of the one I was implementing. So, I will be activating and deactivating this plugin when I need it or until I find one that won't interfere with my layout.

I have added some extra protection regarding the information I provide on the website, especially with opportunity lists. Some of this information occasionally changes, so it can be hard to keep up. This small addition removes my liability in case of an error or a recent change.

I will now only post and share the opportunities that come at no cost to artists.
