WhatsChat

WhatsApp chat, share, abandoned cart & CRM for Shopify stores

update message templates and re-apply to Twilio (problem with use of a variable in previous templates)

completed design of opt-in modal success state for - storefront, thank you page

add disclaimer to UI about automated messages (users should know that messages won't get sent unless someone explicitly opts-in)

get listed under additional categories on Shopify app store to increase exposure & daily installs rate

increased prices again but very slightly, moved a paid (Share) feature to free plan to increase adoption

resolved a dozen support tickets (got a barrage of them today), solved them and hustled for reviews. As a result got 4 new 5-star reviews in a single day after a long time :D

weekly review meeting with co-founder (we try to meet once a week to sync up and have longer discussions, and to celebrate milestones)

re-apply for new message templates with WhatsApp (half got approved, half got rejected, completely at random)

submitted form with reasons & evidence to get app listed under new categories on the app store (will drive additional traffic from gained visibility)

designed secondary opt-in widget for thank you page (in case people don't opt in before placing an order)

updated abandoned cart message templates (want to make sure they are conversion oriented yet addressed to humans)

finalise opt-in widget for storefront (WhatsApp needs to collect permission before sending automated messages)

build relationship with other Shopify developers (ReConvert founders, they are such great people, got tons of advice on pricing strategy)

hire first engineer (got a remote frontend developer from altcampus.io)
