What notes/task management tools do you use?
What tools/services do people for managing tasks, notes etc? We are currently a team of 2.
I am currently looking at Notion and Trello. I would love to go with Trello because it's mainly free for small teams, but Notion seems better, but Notion isn't free and I am trying to keep costs low at the moment.
Any suggestions or recommendations?
I personally use Things 3 as my task manager. However, most of my teams for various projects are on Notion. I prefer it over Trello because I can track development, add extensive long-form notes, and link pages.
If you're a team of 2, then a team workspace would be free up until a storage limit.
Todoist and Google Calendar chrome extension (its handy trust me) for time management and icloud notes for notes. If you have a suggestion for notes I would take it, because iCloud notes doesn't work the best.
I use Trello at work, and it's great for teams. My manager will add tasks and order them by priority. I know what I need to work on, and they can see my current workload.
But, I've never liked using Trello when I work on my own projects. When I'm the only person working through tasks it's easier for me to keep tasks and notes in something like Bear or Todoist.
I think I have decided to go with Trello for now, then later once I outgrow it, we will be looking at a Notion subscription.
Thanks for the replies guys :D
I use Restyaboard, it works great for us to plan and manage our day for both personal and work life. The best open-source Project and Task Management tool for web and mobile application designed to assist teams to organize, track, and manage their work. Task management, Kanban board, Gantt chart, reminders, priorities, calendar, files, notes, time tracking, it has it all. A very good free alternative to Trello.
