What are you building this month? [February 2021]
@sergio is too slow this month π.
Drop down links & an explanation below.
I'm working on a few things:
Portabella (https://portabella.io) as per usual. Made our first MRR with two customers last month so hoping to keep the momentum going!
Social Bios (https://social-bios.com) is a new micro SaaS to automate your social media accounts.
PrivaNote (https://privanote.xyz) is an end-to-end encrypted note taking application. Hoping to launch on Product Hunt and Hacker News shortly!
I'm gonna get back into the swing of things on Nodewood (https://nodewood.com) and build out some features people have been asking for. Specifically, I'm going to build out the Teams feature, so you can spin up a new web app that supports team invites/management/permissions out of the box. Plus, I want to look into upgrading to Tailwind 2 and Vue 3, though the latter may be a bit off still, depending on if the various plugins I use are updated yet.
We're recording a new episode of The Modest Product Podcast (https://modprodpod.com/) tonight, with special guest Lesley Sim (https://twitter.com/lesley_pizza), and then keeping the regular weekly schedule with updates for the rest of the month.
I'm also going to be planning out a new startup! I'm sure I'll have more to announce about that later, once I have a landing page and such up. For a short month, it's looking to be a busy one!
@AlexSorokoletov Hey, neat! Are you still looking, or did you end up rolling your own? Either way, I'd love to chat with you about what it is you're looking for in a product like Nodewood. If you're willing and have time, shoot me an email? hello@nodewood.com
@danhulton I think my reply never showed up here - Yes, I am still looking and will hit you up! Thanks
Working on GoLocate (https://getgolocate.com) and determined to get our first paying customer this month!
We're about to launch a huge redesign to our service, which makes it look all shiny and new. I'm hoping that this, alongside some great advertising, on Facebook should help start the ball rolling!
I'm also very excited about a new case study which is upcoming. As part of our operational testing of some new hardware, we're lucky to be supporting Oregon State University and their rocketry program with helping to recover their rocket in mid-February, using some brand new technology (for us) π
Primary focus: Nullitics, a zero-effort affordable analytics platform. Open-source part is done, battle tested on a few personal websites, announced on HN and got a few emails from people who would like to get ealry access. A long road towards nice UI is ahead. Secondary focus: https://onthesamepage.online. Gaining popularity step by step, people ask for purchases, so I need to automate that and not handle manually. Also, a designer friend came up with a great UI design, will have to refactor frontend code and rework the "about"/landing page.
So this month will be all about that JS.
Finishing Horizon (https://horizon.dmdboi.me) then onto a project featuring feeds and timelines that I've wanted to build for months. π
@AlexSorokoletov There currently isn't a trial version.
Thanks for letting me know about the pricing link π
