How makers stay productive

I am working on a new product to scratch my own itch.

I want to create a dashboard where I will add all the projects me and me team at @HeavyDots have been working on (mostly client work, webapps, apps, design work).

Basically it will allow you to enter name, description, tags, pictures & videos describing a project you have done.

Idea is to create a database / knowledge base for yourself & your team that will be easy to maintain & to browse.

Why & for who?

• For any kind of freelancers & teams / small agencies
• Even for bigger companies
• To have all that information in a single web dashboard, easy to browse, instead of having it in Drive or Dropbox
• Because not all projects can be published on your "website profile" for reasons such: client doesn't allow you to, it is work you're doing through someone else, it is work that doesn't include any visual attraction so it would look ugly but it's still complex & hard work
• Makes you & your team feel proud of work done
• Provides easy way for on-boarding new people on your team so they can browse and have an idea of all the work your team has already done
• Provides a tool that can be use for marketing / sales purposes, when you meet with a client you have at hand the database of all the work done and you can show some of it to the client
• Provides a timeline of work done as months and years go by

So:

• I would like to maybe go ahead with AllMyWorkz name and later rebrand it if necessary, or, I can think more about the name & ask for feedback from designer/branding person. What do you think?
