Is it worth it buying both Makebook and Zero to Sold? Which one is a better read?

What do you think? I've heard a lot of great things about both of them, but they both cover basically the same topic.

I bought Zero to Sold specifically for the sections on selling your business. There don't seem to be a lot of resources out there on that topic.

I got the MAKE book when it was released a while back and it was pretty broad strokes in terms of applicability, but I think it has a lot of value to newbies who just need that extra push and helping hand!

Nice, both sound worth it then :)

I have read Zero to Sold by Arvid and let me tell you, it's a long read (around 500 pages) but it's actually very detailed. Not sure about the MAKE book but the detailing in Zero to Sold is on such level that you will make a lot of notes because its actually very helpful. I would recommend.

Maybe Make book is good for a quick start.

Both are fantastic books.

I do have a piece of advice though: if you want a condensed version of Makebook, Pieter Levels gave a fantastic keynote speech @ Dojo Bali where he basically goes over into what inspired his entire journey. It changed the way I view indie startups + helped kickstart my career as an indie maker.
