Failed SaaS Podcast - would you like to be a guest?
Hey makers!
Next week my new "Failed SaaS Podcast" website will be going live, I am looking for guests who have attempted to build saas products and failed, is this of any interest to anyone in the makerlog community?
The premise of the podcast is I interview/talk to people who have failed saas products and we discuss where things went wrong etc and how they would change things on the next attempt, its aimed at helping everyone out who wants to develop saas products by avoiding mistakes other saas makers have faced - if we know our saas history, we can try not to repeat it!
If so please message me to discuss further.
Thanks Chris
Hey Chris! I love this idea β I bet everyone on here has a story or two to tell.
I recently pivoted away from weTabletop, a directory for board game events. COVID has essentially stopped all in-person events from happening so the interest in the site dried up pretty immediately.
Let me know if this fits the bill! I'd love to chat about it.
Joe you sound ideal, happy to have a chat and then take it from there, you might be episode #1! :)
@chrishanson Sounds great! Feel free to reach out over email :) joe@masilotti.com
I also love this idea. I launched Blogsend at the end of 2018, and it was a great learning experience. It failed and I know exactly why, thanks to some great feedback from users.
In the end, I learned a ton of things, like that HackerNews might love your idea but that doesn't mean they'll be clients ;)
Or that if you paint yourself into a corner with how you define your product, you will have a much harder time pivoting.
Lots of other stuff as well. Let me know if you're interested in chatting. Just hit me up on Telegram or Twitter.
