are you? haha

sales is about timing, when your product, prospect and their needs has met. sometimes I can close the sale in 5 mins, but sometimes I need a week. it's not driven by your product, it define by your prospect and their needs.

wrong prospect? no deal

try to close it too early? no deal

too late to close it? no deal

but you can smell every sales, usually if the prospect ask you: "so, what is your bank account number?"

let's discuss how to get there!

ABC = Always be closing. Love the one you mention "SO WHATS YOUR BANK ACCOUNT NUMBER" as for me, i'll go "which one will you accept? Cash & Bank Transfer?" This is what i learn in the past.

@fajarsiddiq for price above 1k USD I will give him/her my bank account. cash is too much and credit card will be too expensive (the fees). haha

Hey Fauz, thank you ๐Ÿ™ for taking the time to read the article and providing feedback. ๐Ÿ’ฏ Agree with you timing plays a big part in sales. I'd love to hear more about the techniques you use to close a deal in 5 mins. The last big deal I worked on took about 8 months for it to close. ๐Ÿ˜‰

๐Ÿ’ฏ agree with you that sales is driven by your prospect and their needs which makes user and buyer research more important than ever. However for me when I meet with the CEO, CIO, VP, Directors, and Managers the conversation is slightly different about what their needs are and what they are interested in.

If you have any resources on sales that have helped you close more deals would love it if you can share.

Hi @pradipcloud, since in my company I can define everything, I started with define who is our perfect customers, then create products what they need, the last is reach where they are.

In my travel company I defined:

  • Perfect customer : Business or Organization
  • Perfect product : Group trips, MICE and event organizer
  • Perfect reach : SEO, Referral and Cold Email

After that, we design our website:

  • Perfect information
  • Perfect UI/UX
  • Perfect call to action
  • Best prices

If someone reach us, after talking for couple minutes we can detect if he/she is our perfect customer. then try to close the deal. ๐Ÿ˜Š

The journey of 5 mins close the deal is started when our target customer visit our website.

I really liked the "Make it Easy to Buy" section I try to do that with everything I do. Gives the person less opportunities to reconsider
