The president of the UPR, Jorge Haddock, said that “the Center for Support for Innovation and Marketing is part of the new vision of the future that we are promoting to transform the university and, consequently, to Puerto Rico. Vision that has allowed us to historically increase the number of patents of our institution and its commercialization ”.
He indicated that “we are generating great social and cutting-edge changes in the Island. Our focus is to develop innovation and entrepreneurship strategies for the transformation of a new culture among the students we are forming. For these purposes, we created the Entrepreneurship Map of the UPR, which directs our students, professors and entrepreneurs towards a successful model of innovation and entrepreneurship ”.
