What service do you guys use to send out marketing emails for your SaaS?

What's up people?

I'm currently sending out automated emails such as welcomes and password resets for Vokal via Sendgrid. But Sendgrid has a cap of 100 free emails per day.

I'm thinking about upgrading my Sendgrid account or splitting email handling between Sendgrid and something else. The alternative is only for marketing emails.

What do you guys use? 👁👄👁

Hey 👋, I am using Postmark which supports both transactional emails (based on an event) and broadcast emails (on mass).

P.S - That face is going to give me nightmares for years to come.

I don't send marketing emails, but for transactional either SES or Mailgun are fantastic choices.

Postmark is more on the expensive side but gets great deliverability assurances.

I am using Sendgrid for emails.

I use Bubble.io for my front end and it is easy to integrate with Sendgrid.

Postmark, Mailgun & Mailerlite.

Postmark for transactional things. Mailerlite for newsletter. Mailgun also for transactional stuff, but only for old projects.

I've heard good things about Mailerlite and Email Octopus

For Gaston, I use Mailjet, but I'm not the most satisfied. There's nothing wrong with it but I don't really like the UI, it's like it's stuck at MVP phase.

I'd like to test Sendgrid because Twilio services always provide great dev experience and support.

I've used Sendgrid, EmailOctopus, Mailchimp. Right now, I'm just using the first two.

I've been using Mailgun and Mandrill (now part of Mailchimp) in the past. For Launchr I'm now using Sendgrid for both transactional emails + mailing lists.

A while ago I put together a post Transactional email providers for indie businesses. I also made a poll on IndieHackers of what people are using here (it has 68 votes).

My experience is only with Mailgun so I cannot compare differently than the metrics I chose above.
