What payment gateway can i use!

👋 Makers,

I wonder what payment gateway can I use since Stripe doesn't support my country, I live in Southeastern Europe. Is there any list of payment gateway companies where I can have a look.

You can use paddle :) it comes with all payment options and hassle free back-office support

Paddle is great, but there are downsides: for Makerlog it cuts significantly into our revenue. We should be doing upwards of $200/mo MRR, but right now we receive $150.

Once you grow, the payment processing fees get a little too huge for taste. At that point, things are just more difficult to move away if you decide to go for something like Stripe.

TLDR: Use Stripe.

stripe is not available in his country, this why paddle might be the best possible solution. and that's true when product price is low paddle really really sucks (their fixed transaction fee) @sergio

@sergio He can't use it, just like me 🤷🏻‍♂️ Gumroad is also a good option (with lower fees) if you don't need many customizations.

It really isn't worth the extra development time for me. Makerlog won't make extreme amounts of money - for Cowork it makes sense to use Stripe, but for a simple sub system Paddle is great at abstracting all that complexity away.
