First user implemented and started using within their app!

This is exciting! I can finally get to see what kind of use case do people use my app for and hopefully I could improve the feature further!

Awesome! What's the app?

@sergio Hey Sergio! It's https://notifyxf.com :)

Allows you to send notifications to yourself in Telegram with a simple API call!

Feel free to take a look! It's free to use!

Hey, looks like a nice an efficient solution.

It could be useful for a product I'm working on at the moment.

May I ask what would stop someone phishing my API token and then spamming me? (might not be realistic but I'm curious :D)

@MakingJamie Hello Jamie! That's great to hear!! I'm here if you need any help anytime!

Yeah, you are right if someone were to really obtain your access token in one way or another, he or she would be able to chat with you in Telegram. haha

But on a more serious note, I do have plans in the development pipelines to increase security. Things I'm considering are

1) Ability to regenerate a new access token 2) Whitelist the IPs that are allowed to access the API. 3) Provide an alternative authentication format.

My idea is that I would like to keep the implementation as simple as possible for any level of developers to implement into their system regardless of the programming language.

I'll be happy to hear of any other idea if you have any in mind too!
