How does Building In Public work?

Been seeing people mentioning about building in public recently. What are the ways to build in public?

I'm thinking of doing a live video streaming adding new simple features into my app and after which do some quick editing and post it YouTube so that it will not be too lengthy.

What other ideas do you have?

There is two ways i did.

Build digitally in public: on twitter, makerlog, telegram, slack, livestream Build in public in cafe's & co-working space, public libraries

:)

Consistency is key, from start to finish.

@fajarsiddiq Hello Fajar! Thanks for the list!

May I ask how does building in "Telegram" works? That intrigues me hehe

@jasontxf For example, you on MakerLog's Telegram group, you can log your activities with ease with the help of the official bot. Or you can do in any community over there that allows you show what you are doing!

I think it's basically going through the process of what you're doing, saying why you're doing it, the problems you found and how did you solve them.

You can document everything through video, a blog post, a post in social media (Twitter, Facebook,etc.) or through a post in a community that could be interested in what you're doing (Discord, Slack, Facebook group, Telegram group).

There seem to be a lot of ways to achieve this. The most literal being live coding sessions and sharing the whole process with your audience either via posts or video sessions. The opposite might be coding and building in private but sharing your daily goals and challenges along the way.

@MakingJamie Hey Jamie!

Sharing challenges and daily goals sound feasible! Thanks for the additional input!
