Brutal honesty on landing page
Sup guys,
Need some feedback on LZVO.com
It's a free community that helps entrepreneurs do less work without compromising on quality and time.
The menu and interview section looks terrible. Feel free to rip it apart guys
Cheers
Hey Mave
I like the simplistic design
Few things I noticed immediately:
- It's not immediately obvious what you do/offer
- Nothing particularly grabbed me to say look at this or any kind of CTA
- The boxes borders with the tabs looks odd to me
- Diversify page removes the nav
Hey Craig,
LZVO is basically a community, with interview submissions as content.
Yea the interview tabs look weird, not sure if it's the color.
As for the Diversify page, that's a funnel. We want traffic in, and not go out.
Everything you said made sense!
Moved up the email list for a clear CTA
Reposition the text to "we interviewβ¦" tells visitors exactly what we do
Will tweak the interview tabs eventually, looks good for a MVP now.
I read the site and still have no idea what you do. Show me screenshots or tell me what exactly it is that you're offering early on. If I came across this organically I would not have read past the hero. I think a video would work well.
Hey Adam, the intention is a community with interview submissions as content.
I'll make some tweaks.
@mvrckio What is a community though? A slack channel? A forum? A social network? I don't think many people are going to bung their details in blind. There's no user content on the front, profiles, testimonials, member counts etc. to give an idea of who's there. The value in a community is the community members.
My community forum got about 500 sign-ups within a few days of launching with this landing page: https://webwide.io/hello/
@adamgreenough Hey Adam,
That's great feedback, the intent for LZVO didn't exactly align as to what a community is. So we tweaked it back to "Membership"
Appreciate the feedback!
Cheers
I think you should adjust the text size. The first thing I read was "They Are Too Busy, But Not Productive." without having any idea who "they" refers to.
Looking at the page, I've no idea what it's about. Was expecting something about virtual office-related tools.
The navigation on the hero section looks so close to each other, would probably better to keep your navigation at the top.
Overall, the page is too white with no clear separation between each section. Adding some space and background color on each section would help to break down the information.
