How do you collect user feedback?

Hi all, I hope you all are having a productive day! I would like to know how you collect & organize user feedback for your product? How do you prioritize the user feedback/feature requests?

I am currently building my solution so I need to know about it so that I can shape the solution my product will offer. your feedback/suggestions will help me build a valuable product, thanks :)

I have a couple of tips.

  1. Make yourself available. Clearly put contact links (crisp.chat, contact page, feedback bars). Be easily reachable in social media.
  2. Use tools like Hotjar -- they help you understand user behavior, providing tooling to analyze what users do on site, how much they scroll, and the content they want/features they use.
  3. Have clear PM tools -- things like Redmine or GitHub issues where people can chip in to the process.
  4. Build in the open. Use tools like Makerlog to get pre-ship or ship feedback.

All the best!

Try https://upvoty.com :) It's a way to collect and manage feedback in 1 central place. Perfect to share with your users, or work on it internally with tags, assignments, etc.

It also includes a product roadmap and a Changelog to communicate launches and updates.
