Feedback on web design for #twitMate

When designing I tend to draw a still image of a web page first and then use this to work from when developing the frontend.

Since I'm building twitMate fully in the open I'd like to offer it up for feedback on the design at this stage.

The logo is already decided upon so this was my starting point.

Here it is: twitMAte web design

Hello!

Just curious, do you already have the copywriting planned for your Landing Page?

Personally, I usually plan the copywriting first, then I'll let the design revolve around my copywriting to ensure users understand the site the way I expect them to understand it. That part is usually the hardest part…

Right now, I feel it's too early to provide any form of constructive feedback in terms of UX.

So if it's just about the UI side, generally I love the colors. Great contrast and clear separation of content. But whether point forms are sufficient for your product, that remains to be seen.

Looking forward to seeing the progress of your landing page! Cheers!

@jasontxf thanks for the feedback!

I actually do have the copywriting planned already. I did this at the same time as I was working on the design but I will try doing copy first for the dashboard and see if it works out quicker/better.

I just included placeholder text here as I'm never keen on showing text content of a site until it goes live as I had a copycat issue a few years ago that ended up causing duplicate content issues for SEO / Google.

I think I am going to jump straight into development as I am really short of time these days and want to get this up fairly quickly even if it is not perfect.

I will post an update when I have a landing page.

feedback you can use this https://excalidraw.com/ to do low-fidelity mockups. Once you are sure about what you want to do then go to Figma to design an actual mockup then to code. If not, you might need too much feedback for every process you make.

Congrats on the starting point
