How makers stay productive

This week I finally figured out my marketing and growth strategy for Makerlog after months of uncertainty. It suddenly hit me after reading an article on the CMX blog, and I'm so glad to finally have a clear idea of what to do.

I learned (or re-learned) some core tenets of marketing for communities, and it's been enlightening.

This week I learned how giving back to my community is so important and fulfilling. I created a website with a few friends over the past few days that allow students that need help to schedule times with other student tutors for free virtually. We are just starting to publicize it, but it definitely helped me realize that the purpose of my projects should ultimately be to try and help others, no matter how impactful it may be.

During submition of my latest #QuickSearch update to the Firefox addon store their linter gave me a warning that setting innerHTML directly is considered insecure. So I'm setting it now via DOMParser, which is pretty powerful btw.

I learn about why is so important to take breaks.
