What's your real-world productivity stack?
It could be a notebook, an organization system, anything that makes you more productive.
In my case, my notebook + iPad are incredibly crucial to get inspired and write down what I'm doing. I use Kindle on the iPad on a daily basis to read. I also have the world's loudest alarm clock.
Firstly, let's not forget about the coffee ritual β I call it a ritual because I become productive even before I drink the coffee, I like to feel the smell and having it next to my keyboard. Then I drink it and my auxiliary engines are put in motionβ¦ ok maybe that's too much description π
I have a sketchbook that I always use when I want to brainstorm ideas or want to put difficult problems down to visualize them.
I like to play some sports early morning, and recently made a habit of playing tennis about 3-4 times a week. Gets the energy pumping for the rest of the day.
Planning at least a day in advance what I'm going to tackle for the day helps with not having to spend time thinking about it when I'm most productive (morning). Also gives me time to passively think on how to approach the problems before the day starts.
I think that's kinda it for me β
@razvanilin I'm getting off caffeine & coffee. Although I admit, I'm squirting a bit of MCT oil in my meals here and there ;)
Sketchbooks I agree are 100% important. I tried switching to the iPad for all my life notetaking and failed miserably: I find that having a physical notebook is so important.
This is not a real-world life stack, but it is a life stack: aside from my Makerlog to-dos, I use the Stickies app on Mac extensively.
I have three pinned documents (mostly lists) in Bear following pmarca's todo / watching / done system from 13 years ago.
I have another idea list where I move things once I come to terms with the fact the items are not urgent and have no due dates.
