Launching https://tefter.io soon

I published today a feature showcase using a GitHub repo https://github.com/tefter/tefter for my product https://tefter.io Tefter is a social bookmarking app for individuals and teams. Mapping all the features we've developed over the months was quite a morale boost.

Given that we'll launch it on PH quite soon, I'd appreciate all the honest feedback you could give.

Good luck with the launch! There is ton of bookmarking services that launch then quickly close. What's the thing that set you apart from others? What is your roadmap?

Thanks Wassim.

What sets us apart is that we're driven to bring value to people like us. The core product is free, we don't display ads, nor do we harvest or sell our user's data. We're not trying to "blitzscale", our spending is optimised for sustainability. In the unfortunate event that we have to shut down, there's a data export feature. It was one of the first features we implemented.

We believe our offering is balanced with features for both individuals and teams. At some point we'll post a comparison table, so that it'll be very clear how we compare against any of our competitors.

Roadmap

  • Rich notes for bookmarks / lists / orgs
  • Article highlighting
  • List collaboration
  • Offline archives (push to send the archive to mobile)
  • Custom feeds from RSS

I am going to assume that this is not going to be an open source project right? You just used github to show how things work out.

Looks good and would like to give it a try when you release it :D

Also on the website I got a suggestion for the design. I'd put those shapes on the footer, at the moment it looks odd that the shapes are cut and then the footer is using a white background.
