Where you promote your projects?
🤔
What's your target audience? It's going to depend completely on that. I've had a lot of luck by responding to someone on Twitter asking if a product like xxxxx exists and saying something along the lines of "Hey, I'm working on something like this [screenshot]. Let me know if you'd like an invite to the alpha". If it looks like it solves a need of theirs they might retweet, and if they have a lot of followers a retweet from them can send a lot of people your way. There's a fine line between doing that well and coming off as spammy, so you really need to think about your wording and how you come off. 1-hour thinking of how to word a tweet to 1 person is better than sending 100 tweets to random people. That's just a random example though. I'm working on something for devs, so Twitter works well for me. For other products, your users might not congregate on Twitter, or even online, and you need to find out where they are. Just keep trying lots of things, be creative, try not to come off as spammy and you'll figure out something that works that you can repeat.
