Working on a Maker Community Forum, need feedback but also interaction
I always found it hard to be in a tech community, I love it but most places are terrible to reference back to older information. Thats why I want to build a forum where anyone can post and comment and collaborate. This is not a replacement to everything but rather a hub.
This new site is free and always will be, its open, and it uses B2 storage so you can upload files up to 100MB to attach to any conversation making it easy to share projects, code and media like videos on what you are working on.
So I am looking for feedback and ideas, but also for people to help start posting content to it, if it's about making in any way post it and we can work on the Tags to make things better fit.
Join at makerforum.org and let's make a great community that is all about collaboration.

This is interesting! Curious to know why didn't you choose any of the existing forum platforms like Xenforo, Flarum, phpBB etc. to build your forum?
@CuriousMaximus It's actually Flarum. So I am glad to see it on your list.
@CuriousMaximus Funny thing is the changes took maybe an hour, the mobile still needs a few fixes but I used Flarum in the past so really comfortable with it and it's database structure.
@CuriousMaximus Hum I made a response and it disappeared. Sure! Also is it more of a social like Facebook or Twitter like global feed? Or something else?
