Store video in cloud

Hi guys

Do you guys know a better software or cloud service for storing video in cloud??

For example like Dropbox or Google photos, but , I want your guys recommendations..

I want to clean up my laptop storage and store all my video in cloud..

Any recommendations ??

I've used AWS S3 to store videos I don't really need on a daily basis (wedding, other events, etc).

It was quite easy to setup & use. 1TB of data is around $10 per month with S3 One Zone storage, Blackblaze would cost 5$

  1. Setup AWS account & S3 bucket
  2. Install Cyberduck
  3. Upload content

As @gera says AWS S3 is a great option.

I've used Azure Blob storage before too, it's a little more tricky to set up but is really great once you have done it.

Digital Ocean Spaces is another good option.

All 3 are pretty affordable to store videos.

I have used dropbox, S3 , vimeo, youtube Google drive and yandex disk. But it depends on your use case. Should the videos be possible to view by other people online or is ti just for storing/backup. One solution is to just use a SSD or USB stick for it. Maybe also a long time off-site external backup solution. There are lots of considerations and things to think about. Do you want to stream the videos, share them with friends, encrypt them so no one can access them etc..

A cheap longterm storage solution I think is AWS glacier.

I want to streaming back at all that video , and my intention is to prevent from store it at ssd or usb stick as my laptop have some problem with it. If can , store it in cloud is better option for me right now.

-dropbox -s3 -GD -Yandex Disk -vimeo

Thankd Goran ;)

@asyraf Vimeo works well for me and the price is reasonable.

We use Plex Media Server for home streaming of our cloud video content. It's a nice face on top of something like AWS S3.
