What do you guys use to track goals? My productivity stack is messed up.

I'm trying to tie together my large life goals, annual goals, weekly goals and daily todolist all together. So they don't all live in different places and I have to do all the connecting in my brain. Anyone know of a tool like this?

Current system: Annual/Monthly/Weekly Goals: Sometimes written down in notes on icloud daily to do list: Todoist Calendar: Google Calendar, which is for visual representation of todoist and repeating things(classes)

It feels very jumbled and I need help tracking it all, Todoist can't give me the big picture view that I want.

Are these checklists of goals you maintain, like some sort of quantified self tracker? Or do you also write logs/journalistic entries about each goal as you go?

If it's the former, can try Lifeboard (https://thelifeboard.app/), made by another maker here Antonio @uf4no

If it's the latter, try my site Lifelog (https://golifelog.com)! It's for writing down your goals, reflecting, planning and writing about your learnings re: each goal. We do monthly goal recaps, and share monthly goals at start of each month too. But more qualitative tracking/reviews, not so much for quantitative tracking

@jasonleow Thanks for sharing theLIFEBOARD !

@bryceroars In theLIFEBOARD you can create goals with milestones and habits and log your progress towards them week by week. I've been using it for months and keep adding new features (the last one yesterday). Let me know if you want to give it a try and if you need any help with it.

@uf4no I signed up on the landing page, this looks promising and similar to what I was looking for, I'd love to give you some feedback if I can get a chance to use it and compare it to what I wanted.

@bryceroars awesome! You should have an email with the instructions to create your account. Let me know if you don't have it and I'll send you a DM on Twitter. Happy to talk about how it works and looking forward to hear what you think about it 😊

After identifying my main objectives and the actions and results that would define success (like mini-OKRs), I set up a kanban board on Notion with regular reminders added to the more significant tasks.

For myself, I'm attempting quarterly as yearly is too long and daily is too much. But Notion provides enough flexibility to manage long scopes. Trying not to over-tool myself 😅

@ahn_going nice I see a lot of goal trackers lately on Notion. Is your template public? Just curious to see how everyone does it differently…

I'm building Amna (https://getamna.com).

Provides a calendar for the daily things, everything is organized into actionable chunks. It manages notes, and links. I use it across a variety of domains from Home to stuff for my startup. I wouldn't say it's like a fancy dashboard.

One of my problem areas was execution, too many things to do, and little things to pick up on. Amna solves that.

It's heavily tied to information management, and putting together the task list with all the things you have going on from emails to notes, and when you work, it gives you a kind of zen.

I'm giving a few folks early access, let me know if you want to try it out!
