Did I use the weekend mode right?

Hey everyone, when you switch on weekend mode and add a task anyways does your streak changes? My original streak was 163 and now dropped to 117. Wasn't sure if I used the feature correctly. Didn't want to create an issue in case this was a user error on my part. Thanks

Hi Helen,

Please see the Frequently Asked Questions at https://getmakerlog.com/about Last section, "How does Weekend Mode work?"

With weekend mode enabled: Weekend days will not break your streak, but they will not count towards it

Note that Weekend Mode works retroactively! Means that when you activate it, it will subtract from your current streak all previous weekend days, so in some cases a decrease of the streak is possible. Turning it off and adding a new task will reset that to the previous value.

I added a Task back, But It didn't refresh

@narrvv I copied then deleted my task. Turned off weekend mode then add my task. My streak immediately refreshed back to its original number.
