I'm trying to find out what revenue could be possibly produced (market size) in the local German-speaking market (Italy, Austria, Southern Germany)
Research about cross platform stack for new project
For this project, the client wants a web app (which should run on POS devices and lobby TVs), an iOS and an Android app. As a solo dev who is proficient in React, I think the best route to take is Next.js (with static export), Ionic, Capacitor and Tailwind (for custom CSS). Regarding CI, I'll use Vercel and Appflow. For the backend, I'm going to choose Strapi, hosted on AWS using Docker (S3 + CloudFront for Assets).

So currently, I don't have time to work on my own projects, because I got a lot of interesting freelance projects. The cool thing is, one of the might eventually become a standalone business, as freelance projects are the best way (IMO) to understand the specific problems and needs of niches you otherwise could never imagine. Currently, for me, those niches are architecture and car retailers/repair shops, and it's so cool to work on products which solve real problems, also if they might not become my next startup opportunity. It just feels great to create value.
Agree 100%, if you are freelancer. I would work freelance 4 days a week. 2 days personal projects. 1 day to rest.

Yea, normally something like that is my plan, but now I'm working on two rather large projects, so I need the all of the time for them. But hey, both of them might convert into a business in a later stage
