Doing some testing with WEBP, here's an interesting comparison. GET ON THE WEBP-TRAIN FOLKS!

Amazing! 💪🏼 I simply need it for internals myself and Gautham made me realize I could use it multiple places rather than a simple project

Yup 100%. Never, ever rely on WEBP alone.

Thanks for the offer 🙏 I managed to make it work super good, I don't want to touch it at this point 😅 I expected everything to break on day 1, but so far it's been good!

On larger pictures, the compression is even better. There's a ton of converters online, try it out. It's really mind blowing by how much you can increase the quality for no loss in loading time.

I have a CDN in the pipeline 👀 in case you want to test it out. Has JPG fallback

what we need is a cdn where it does all the fall back easily for images. Gives webp if not supported then others.

webp doesnot load in all browsers. So if you have to add a single src for webp, i think its recommended to use like a fall back to a jpeg.

yup, and also a feature that figures out the best settings because I've been sitting here for about 5 hours now, however I just finished it. Very much configurations, but the loading speed is insane! 👌
