Fixed mail server configuration

Suspecting that some emails are ending up in spam boxes. Made some DNS tweaks and ran it through mail-tester.com. Score before tweaks: 6.3/10, after: 8.1/10. Hopefully this fixes the issue.

Step 9: Testing Sender Score was where it all came together. Once you get to that step, follow the instructions and recommended fixes after sending that test email, and you should be good!

I had the mail server set up correctly and could send/receive emails. So what I did was go through the steps listed in that LinuxBabe article, and checked that my config files were correct.

I had some DNS-related entries that needed to be corrected! This resource was super useful: https://www.linuxbabe.com/mail-server/postfix-send-only-multiple-domains-ubuntu
