Survive an atempted scam in Bangkok
I was stupid and tired just got of an 10hour flight, walking to where I'm staying and some nice Thai guy comes up to me and asks if I have been in Thailand for long, where I'm going etc. Then he tells me I'm lucky coming that day because of government was sponsoring a bunch of things and that tuc-tuc ride was only 40baht. I was tired and just accepted without thinking, the tuc tuc dropped me of at some tourist center (scam center) they want me to book a trip with them, after a while I say I'm not interested, and they throw me out, pretty much. Could have been much worse, I only lost 40baht (pretty mych nothing), have heard people getting robbed etc from similar scams.
That sounds terrifying, glat to hear it all turned out relatively fine in the end…
