How makers stay productive

We've got ~500 users today and I try to keep them informed on our product updates and provide little user tips with a monthly newsletter to send out next week. Avg. open rate is ~20% but from there the clicks are terrible <5%.

What are general thoughts on newsletters for early stage products - is monthly too frequent at this stage? Or maybe it should be even more frequent? 🤔
