This is versioning. You are probably using Git. In order to "save" those change into Git you need to do what's called a commit. Either via an app on you desktop or via a command line. You need to choose what files you want to save by "adding" it to your commit and then commit them. If you have a Github/BitBucket account you can push the change to save them on the cloud and thus being able to get them anytime on any computer.

Not sure if I'm clear.

Hmm, okay, but but… I think I'm still confused. It still shows this even if I've saved and closed it. It's still just things I changed?

It means you have edited those lines. Plus and minus on the same line is basically telling from and to what.

Got it! So it's just because I haven't pushed the commit! Thank you very much. That helps a lot. I thought it looked a lot like that.
