Complete the super-bare-minimal flow for Tried to expo eject and install to my phone, but failed due to some error with the splash screen :(
Added ability to create and delete habits
Wire up the database and have a very naive implementation of recording
Wired up simple SQLite queries for app
Can optimize some parts with joins and aggregation, but the ORM I'm using is quite basic so I'll KISS for now (n+1 shouldn't be too big an issue given it's localised to a mobile device)
Played around with expo-sqlite-orm, think I'll go ahead with this
Listened to https://www.indiehackers.com/podcast/154-rob-fitzpatrick-of-the-mom-test, highly recommend!
Mucking around with AsyncStorage for Golly I didn't realise how much I'd miss an ORM. If anyone has advice on storing data in an offline app on React Native, please help!
Wire up navigation for
Simple habit details screen for
Basic layout and interactions dashboard in React Native
I don't currently use a habit tracking app but I am thinking about using Maker Log for habit tracking.
Do some early mockups for
Restart work on
Inspired by (of all things) Pokemon GO, I'm trying to give a little more incentive to building habits. The backstory: you're in a spaceship powered by habits - the more you achieve, the more planets you'll discover!
Chipping away at finishing a React Native course
Continued going through React Native course
Continue working through a React Native course in preparation for the next project
Worked on another template for but think I'm going to shelf this idea, at least for now.
After reflecting on the attempts at validation, my thought process is now:
- I was thinking of targeting indie devs who didn't want to spend too much time on design, yet wanted a somewhat unique design
- In that case, the starting point is probably an existing theme they have, and then tweaking off it
- So, the product might not be very relevant

Sketched out a layout for
Validation so far hasn’t seemed good, no responses in IH. Will try seeing if I do a minimal version if the value will be more obvious.
Deployed early version of landing page

Prettified the hero section for and made it responsive
Did hero section of landing page for
Made a quick-and-dirty concept for
Seems a bit... simple. I think it's useful but it probably needs templates that accept a true palette (as opposed to a single primary color) and a palette generator. What do you think?
