Linky IO

Hey! I'm an explorer who makes cool things with code.

Setup start app.

[start.] visit this url to launch your start page. #linky

Setup boot app.

[boot.] ui to set your linky profile and environment.

Setup self-hosted git with gitea and docker!

Improve developer website

* Improve graphical design.
* Add code highlighting.

Fixed linky local dev without having the full dev env.

Web boostrap BIOS had development bootstraping code itself that needed adjustment. (to sound completed.) Fixed for now, should look at it again later.

Pushed Linky Note App Update

* Switched to a "Today's Notes" -- focus on what you're doing today -- automatically resets every day -- start each day with a clean new notes page.

* updated: https://note.linkyio.com -- can try it (MVP only tested in chrome (iOS may not work))

I like to keep the notes page open in a column shaped browser window for quick access.

Add timestamp to blob storage items

So can sort/filter notes by the day.

Reading HN. Good related comments from HN today

"I think we've figured out maybe 1% of what the web is good for & capable of. There's still so much possibility, so many options, that any given person can go off & explore & play around with & succeed on. The field has never been more open for, more ready for new exciting possibilities" ... "There's no headier better more promising time than today (and the web continues to be the premier delightful connectable blank slate from with which to experiment & iterate)."

"I am starting to feel like (at least from my filter bubble) that the web may be slightly starting to think about maybe someday turning the corner on centralized-by-default model for building new applications.
And/or it's just my first time seeing a complete pendulum swing on the apocryphal mainframe-pc-mainframe-pc cycle."

"...privacy, cheaper and more scalable for a web service to use a user's resources than server side...."

Added easy app connect library

Now can add app connect logic with two lines of code.
