I agree with Nick, the action buttons should come over the top of the box instead of expanding it

I'm not so sure I would put the first box in - maybe just without it for now?

It looks a lot cleaner, but I'd prefer to see the action buttons possible actually in the task box itself, so when a user hovers over the action buttons expand over and the background sort of goes transparent.
