Great choice, Dreamhost suck metaphorical balls, as do any host owned by Endurance International Group (EIG) such as HostGator… They kill performance as much as possible and overcrowd as much as they can.

Hey, they'll try everything to 'keep' you as a client. they can charge a prorata value of your service, however they need to close your account if you ask for it. I'd contact their support/accounts and get them to just close the account. Say that the website isn't clear and is frustrating you, you just want to close the account.

Tell them you'll be leaving a review so any help would be appreciated and reflected as such ;). (not that they usually care, just do a quick search and you'll find how others have been treated)
