Signed up for Freshping web monitoring (thanks @yuyu for the recommend!) to ping my Heroku API app to prevent it from idling after 30min. Ended up monitoring both frontend and backend since they give 50 checks for FREE!πŸ˜―πŸ€©πŸ€‘ Status page looks schweet too: https://statuspage.freshping.io/49631-golifelogcom

Thanks @yuyu for introducing this to me too #goodvibes

@surjithctly yep am aware. 1000 dyno hours per month should be enough for 1 app running 24/7/31, yes? 😊

Freshping looks cool, offering 1-min interval and some integrations, it could be better if having custom domain (with SSL) for the status page like uptimerobot.

Yes, I saw it, just comparing the free plans between those two.

I assume that you are using Free version of Heroku. In that case, Heroku has a new measure to avoid this hack, Even if you prevent idiling, the Server will run based on your Free Dyno Hours, once you've exhaused, it will stop running. Are you aware of this?

Actually Freshping does have custom domain with SSL, but the SSL is available only on a paid plan i think
