That's a good one, I used it when starting out with Rails. It's such a well thought out framework, compared to the fragmentation of the JS landscape. And it runs some of the worlds biggest sites so it's more than capable.

yep! Industrial strength πŸ’ͺ i don't go for shiny new objects, prefer reliable, tried and tested. So are you a Rails dev for work / your side hustle?

These days I do full stack JS, but when I was consulting a couple years back, I did a bit of work with Rails. I'll pick Rails if I'm working on bigger side projects, but for the ones I'm working on right now, I'm using Nextjs and Firebase so there's no fixed costs for hosting, and no servers to maintain.
