Good guees, the bunnies definitely took inspiration from pokemon. Specifically from azummarill. But the answer I'm looking for takes into account the composition of the promo artwork.

Hmmm. No idea then. I saw the bunny inspired by Pokemon though! There's a Pokemon that had cotton in its ear. Don't remember the name.
