Heh yeah I guess it can come across that way on Twitter. I've been fulltime self employed for 7-8 years. Run a solo design innovation consulting thing (Outsprint), with clients mainly from gov and non-profits. But started indie making since 2018-19, stumbled around a bit, but got serious with wanting to go FT indie hacking the past 2 years

Yeah I strangely don't. I was doing it before there was even indie hackers. In my mind, "indie hackers" was for me more tech/software/SaaS-related that can scale beyond the bottleneck of selling my time (which was what my consulting was). I guess you can technically call it an indie business…just never 100% associated it to the indie hacker movement

Thanks bro. Appreciate the vote of confidence. I don't talk about my work for Outsprint much, cox I never saw it as linked. Perhaps I should since it's still paying for my career transition experiments!

Lol you were the pioneer bro! It's probably your very first "sweaty startup" so to speak. i see it as IH because you found a way to some sort of freedom - no boss, your own hours, can work from anywhere. And you've been doing it for 8 years!! There's a lot we could learn from you.

Haha thanks for seeing me so up. Yeah I guess on hindsight that paved the path to what I'm chasing now. From IH services to productized services to digital products then now SaaS.
